Tenth homicide arrest

Shreveport Police detectives arrested a tenth suspect late Thursday afternoon in connection with a shooting death in the 600 block of Springhill early last month.

Detectives received an anonymous crimes stoppers tip about where they could find Brandon Howard, Black Male DOB 9-Feb-1989. Detectives and patrol units responded to the 3200 block of Knight Street and Howard was taken into custody.

Howard and the other nine suspects are all charged with first degree murder in shooting death of Donte Gilbert, black male DOB 26 Mar 1972, who was shot and killed on August the 9th in the 600 block of Springhill.
