Shreveport Police seeking robbery suspects

Shreveport Police need your help in apprehending two suspects who robbed a west Shreveport convenience store this week.

At approximately 3:00 a.m. on the morning of August 25, 2009, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Circle K in the 6000 block of W. 70^th St. A witness told investigators that two black male suspects armed with handguns entered the store and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects fled the business.

Detectives have now identified the two men they believe are responsible for this robbery and secured warrants for their arrest. Investigators are looking for 29 year old Travis Cox of the 6100 block of Tierra in Shreveport and 28 year old Jerome Pipkins, also of the 6100 Tierra. Both men have an armed robbery warrant outstanding for their arrest. The bond on both warrants is set at $250,000. Detectives believe the men should be considered armed and dangerous.
