Shreveport Police investigate latest murder

Shreveport Police detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred this morning at a west Shreveport apartment complex.

At approximately 6:57 a.m. this morning, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to the Country Club Apartments in the 4200 block of Lakeshore Dr. relative to a concerned citizen reporting a male victim face down in the parking lot there. Upon arrival, officers discovered 24 year old Tremaine Perkins deceased in the parking lot suffering from what appeared to be at least two gunshot wounds to the upper torso. Detectives were dispatched to the scene as well as Shreveport Police crime scene investigators who processed the scene and recovered evidence.
