Metro PCS store robbed

Shreveport Police need your help in identifying and apprehending a suspect who robbed a cellular phone store in west Shreveport this morning.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. this morning, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Metro PCS store in the 6700 block of Pines Rd. A witness told investigators that a male suspect entered the store, produced a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint. The suspect, described a black male with some type of mask over his face, received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store on a bicycle. No one was injured during the robbery.
