Community Service
Activities
The employees of the Shreveport Fire Department
Communications Division are actively involved in community
service activities such as the department’s annual “shake the
boot” collection for MDA, local community fan drives, “Walk for
the Cure”, “Pumpkin Run” and the delivery food for the local
food bank.
After the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, the division was
quick to “adopt” the Slidell Fire Communications Division and
provided necessities and gifts to their fellow telecommunicators. |
