September 23, 2010 - Shreveport Paramedic/EMTs to Explore Innovative Ambulance and Emergency Medical Equipment

An ambulance engineer and product specialist will be available for interviews

In an effort to bring a bit of a national conference to Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals who are not able to attend EMS EXPO, the largest EMS Conference in North America, a one-of-a-kind traveling showcase is headed across the country presenting the latest ambulance design and EMS equipment to industry professionals.

Traveling to 5 different states, the Road Show arrives at Shreveport Fire Department on September 24th at 4:30pm with SJC Industries’ innovative SideLoad Ambulance, the only SideLoad design in America, Ferno’s total safety solution, and a number of patient care innovations from Hartwell Medical. During the approximately 2 hour visits at each location, On Assignment Studios, the Road Show’s production team, will highlight the EMS operations visited, detail the demonstrations of the ambulance and equipment and record medic interviews about safety, change and innovation.

An ambulance engineer and product specialist will be available for interviews on location, along with equipment for photo opportunities. The SideLoad Ambulance, with its unique features for increased EMS personnel safety is the only one of its kind in North America and will be test driven. It is currently only used in one location in the US.
