August 10, 2010 - Rescuers and Recovery Team Awards
SFD & SPD Will be honored at Council Meeting

Shreveport Mayor Cedric B. Glover and Fire Chief Brian A. Crawford will recognize and present the Mayor’s Award of Excellence and the Shreveport Fire Department’s Commendation Award to Civilians Anthony Bharo, Brad Herring and Ashley Mcleod during today’s Shreveport City Council Meeting for their efforts in attempting to rescue the drowning victims on Monday, August 2, 2010. Christopher Patlan will receive the Civilian Cross Award for his swift actions in rescuing the lone survivor, 15-year-old Dekendrick Warner.
