December 8, 2009 - Afternoon Fire Damages Home Fire damage was contained to the involved bedroom The Shreveport Fire Department responded to 932 Daniel Street at 3:17 PM this afternoon for a reported house fire. Fire crews arrived at 3:20 PM and reported smoke visible coming from the one-story brick home. Fire crews entered the home to find a back bedroom on fire and quickly extinguished it. The fire was under control within five minutes. There was no one home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries to any firefighters. Fire damage was contained to the involved bedroom but the home suffered smoke damage throughout. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Fire Prevention Bureau. |
