June 30, 2009 - Sigma Gamma Rho Rhoer’s to assist Fire Department
Fundraiser to purchase smoke alarms

Members of the Beta Omega Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.(Rhoer Club) is planning a fundraiser to purchase smoke alarms to assist the Shreveport Fire Department in spreading the message of fire safety.
The following is the logistics for the Rhoer Club Event:

Event: Car Wash
Date: July 11, 2009
Time: 6:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Location: 8902 Jewella Avenue (Firestone Parking Lot)

According Project Leader Stephanie Rhine, “This is our first community service project. We want to use this as an opportunity to demonstrate community involvement to our debutants and future alumni of the society. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to the Shreveport Fire Department to purchase smoke alarms.”
