April 9, 2009 - Mayor Glover and Chiefs to Address Dispatchers during National Telecommunications Week Event will take place on April 15, 2009 Mayor Cedric B. Glover, Fire Chief Brian A. Crawford and Police Chief Henry Whitehorn will address Emergency 911 dispatchers during National Telecommunications Week. Each year, the second full week of April is dedicated to the men and women who serve as public safety telecommunicators. Public Safety Managers across the nation will recognize the more than 200,000 dispatchers from Aril 12-18, 2009. Logistics of the Event: Date: April 15, 2009
