March 27, 2009 - House Fire Causes Heavy Damage

The cause of the fire is still under investigation

The Shreveport Fire Department responded to 3942 Adrian Street this evening at 8:00 PM for a reported house fire. Fire crews arrived on scene in five minutes to find a single story wood frame home with flames showing on the front of the home. Fire crews attacked the fire immediately and had the fire under control at 8:13 PM. There were two occupants at home at the time of the fire but escaped with no injuries.
 
The home suffered heavy fire damage to the front of the home and heavy smoke damage throughout. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
