February 23, 2009 - Account opened to assist Injured Firefighter

All monetary donations will help

Fire Chief Brian A. Crawford and the Shreveport Fire Department has established a fund to assist Battalion Chief Tommy Adams who was severely injured when he fell 10-15 feet from a ladder truck this past weekend during the Crew of Geminis Mardi Gras parade. 

The account has been set up at the Professional Firefighters Credit Union located at 9410 Healthplex Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana 71106 under the account number #2227008.  All monetary donations will assist Chief Adams, his wife and two daughters during his long recovery period. Chief Adams is a 31-year veteran of the Shreveport Fire Department.
