Firefighter Recruits to Hold MDA Fund Raiser

Shreveport firefighter recruits scheduled to graduate from the Fire Academy next week will be holding a fund raiser this weekend to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

The 19 members of the Fire Department’s 47th Basic Training Class will be washing cars Saturday at the Regions Bank in the Bayou Shopping Center, 6602 Youree Drive, from 8 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Come by and show your support for your local firefighters and make a donation to a good cause. ###
