Fire Chief Announces Promotions and Retirement

Shreveport Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran is proud to announce the promotions of Driver Edwin Fouts, Jr. to Captain and Fire Fighter Michael Barber to Driver. Captain Fouts new responsibilities will be to oversee and supervise fire fighters at the fire station and on emergency scenes. Driver Barber will be tasked with the operations responsibility of department apparatus as well as additional supervisory roles.

Retiring from the department is Captain Lane Johnson with 17 years of service. The department thanks Captain Johnson for his years of dedicated service. ###
