Fire Department slated to Graduate New Communications Officers

The Shreveport Fire Department will hold graduation ceremonies for members of its most recent Communications Officers Academy this Thursday, January 31, 10:00 a.m., at the Caddo Parish 911 Center, 1144 Texas Avenue.

The five new Fire Communications Officer-I's (FCOI): Emily Clark, John Elliott, Monica Graham, Regina Harvey, and Candi Snead, have completed their Phase I-Classroom training and will now be assigned to a Training Shift in the Emergency Operations Center.

The new graduates will now begin work in the Communications’ Phase II training module, which includes 911 call taking, radio and Emergency Medical Dispatch, and advanced computer functions, for the next four months. At the conclusion of Phase II training, they will be permanently assigned to a regular shift. ###
