Fire Chief Announces Promotions and Retirements

Shreveport Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran is proud to announce the promotions of Captain Gary Horton and Captain William Howard to the rank of District Chiefs; Fire Drivers George Lawler and Rickey Grisham have been promoted to Captain; and firefighters Trayon Jones, Rex Wilhite, and Todd Olague have ben promoted to Fire Driver. Additionally Fire Driver Candi Snead has been promoted to Fire Communications Officer I.

Retiring from the department are District Chief Pete Moncrief with 28 years of service and District Chief Glenn Benton with 32 years of service. The department thanks both members for their years of dedicated service.
