Fire Department Announces Graduates and Promotions

Shreveport Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran is proud to announce the graduation of Connie Alamond, Unique LaCoure, and Julia Small from the department’s Communications’ Academy. All three have successfully completed their formal training for the entry level position of Fire Communication Officer I. They will be required to spend the next three months with a communications training officer at the 911 console before working independently.

Cochran also announced the promotions of Fire Communications Officer IIs Luanne Procell and Patricia Bradford to the position of Fire Communications Supervisor. The promotions are effective immediately.
