Fire Department Announces Promotions and Retirements

Shreveport Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran is proud to announce the following promotions: District Chief Mack McCoy to Assistant Chief of Operations; Captains Barry Lewis and George Moncrief to District Chief; Drivers Anthony Gueory, Dale Britt, and Joseph Sanders to Captain; Firefighters Scott Marler, Raleigh Hensley, and Brooke Ingram to Driver. Chief McCoy will assume the shift commander responsibilities for "B" shift.

Retiring from the department are Assistant Chief of Operations Truman Wimberly with 33 years of service; District Chief Don Blackwell with 31 years of service ; and Captain Joe Carroll with 28 years of service.
