EMS Membership and Billing Information
Emergency medical service is provided by the Shreveport Fire Department
emergency ambulance units.
Emergency Medical Services are billed first to to
qualifying medical insurance agencies such as Medicare/Medicaid or private
insurance companies. When all these resources have responded, the customer
is billed for the remainder of the fees for the services rendered.
