Six on-site rental car companies operate at Shreveport Regional Airport. Each company has a booth located in the southern end of the new terminal building. Rental cars in a lot adjacent to the southern end of the airport terminal, requiring only a short walk for customers to reach a rental car. The six companies operating
at Shreveport Regional Airport, their telephone numbers are as follows:
When returning a vehicle, customers are encouraged to park the vehicle in one of the designated parking areas in the rental car lots, and bring the keys with them to the rental car agency's office inside the terminal building. Customers who are coming to the airport to rent a vehicle are encouraged to park their personal vehicle in short-term parking, enter the airport terminal and then rent a vehicle from one of the agencies. The opening of the new terminal in November 1999 led to the arrival of Avis, Enterprise and Thrifty car rental agencies to the airport. The Shreveport Airport Authority welcomes these new companies and is proud to have Budget, Hertz and National continue their long-standing relationship with Shreveport Regional. |
