Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) is a nationwide commitment to reduce gun crime in America by networking existing local programs that target gun crime and providing these programs with additional tools necessary to be successful.
Crime Stoppers Shreveport/Caddo Parish has partnered with the Shreveport Police Department and Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office to assist in the arrest of felons who are in possession of a firearm. This program’s achieves success when the public notifies law enforcement either directly or through Crime Stoppers, 673-7373, that a subject who they know is a convicted felon has a firearm in their possession. To accomplish the arrest, the caller must give a complete description and the exact location of the suspect and how they know the suspect is in possession of a firearm.
We are proud to assist our local law enforcement agencies and the federal government with its commitment to make our community safer by aggressively targeting these convicted felons.
