Police arrest second robbery suspect

Shreveport police arrested a second suspect in the robbery of Community Bank.

Rickey Washington, 19, of the 7600 block of Gideon is charged with armed robbery. Police already had arrested Michael Hodge, 18, of the 1000 block of Babylon on a charge of principal to armed robbery.

Both are believed to have been involved in the robbery of Community Bank in the 100 block of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, which occurred at 9:25 a.m. Friday.

Hodge was arrested at the Spring Lake Apartments shortly after the robbery. Meanwhile, Washington was arrested at his home late Friday night.

Police are still searching for a third suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 673-7000.
