Police search for missing man

A Shreveport man missing since noon Monday has detectives searching for clues to his whereabouts.

Cody Black, 27, last talked to his mother by telephone Monday. She reported to police on Tuesday that she had not heard from him as expected.

Since Monday, there have been no reports of anyone seeing or talking to Black. However, around 9 p.m. Wednesday, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office found his 1998 green Geo Prism burned out just north of Shreveport.

Anyone with information about Black is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 673-7000. Or they can call Police Communications at 673-7300 and tell the operator they have information for Detective Suzanne Gallier.
