Woman found dead in alley

Police are investigating a homicide involving a white female, who was found deceased in an alley near Anna and Pierre this morning.

The woman is believed to be 36 years old. She was known to frequent the area in which she was found.

It is unknown exactly what caused her death. There was apparent trauma to her head, but the coroner will have to determine the exact cause. It is also unknown whether the woman had been sexually assaulted.

Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 673-7000.
