Officers to be promoted Wednesday

Three Shreveport police officers will be promoted during a ceremony at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Shreveport Police Assembly Room.

Those being promoted are:

    • Sgt. J.D. Moore, moving up to lieutenant. Moore has been with the department since July of 1981.

    • Cpl. R.C. James, being promoted to sergeant. James has been with the department since June of 1987.

    • Officer S.K. White, being promoted to corporal. White has been with the department since May of 1991.
