Police arrest man for hit and run

Police arrested a man around 9 p.m. Tuesday night for the felony hit and run of a boy riding a bicycle.

Deboski Small, 24, of Shreveport was arrested after police obtained information that he was the man who hit 14-year-old Chadrick White of Shreveport as White was riding his bike in at Desoto and Wallace streets.

The incident occurred about 9:05 p.m. Monday, and White was taken to LSU Hospital.

A maroon Cadillac Small was allegedly driving has not been located.

Anyone with information on the car’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 673-7000 or the Hit and Run Investigation office at 673-7255.
