Police search for robbery suspects

Police are searching for two black males who robbed the Werner Park Grocery at 4730 Mansfield Road about 10:50 a.m. today.

One of the two suspects produced a gun, pointed it at the clerk and then took money from the register.

The two suspects then left on foot, headed east.

A witness in a vehicle chased the suspects but lost them in the Hollywood Heights neighborhood.

The witnesses are described as young males in their teens or early 20s wearing dark clothing. One is 5'6" and about 150 pounds. The other is about 5'5" and 160 pounds.

Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 673-7000.
