Police arrest three for stealing cars from dealership

Shreveport Police have arrested three people who are charged with breaking into a automobile dealership and stealing three cars in Opelousas.

Those facing charges of being a fugitive from Opelousas, business burglary and auto theft are: Sirricio Taylor, 17, of Shreveport; Jamey Houston, 18, of Shreveport; and a 15-year-old juvenile from Shreveport.

Two Cadillacs and a Buick were taken from Diesi Pontiac, Cadillac and Buick of Opelousas on Feb. 11.

The two Cadillacs were recovered in Shreveport, but police are still looking for a gray 1997 Buick LeSabre with La. Tag FWU019.

When police investigated the Opelousas theft, they discovered a vehicle parked at the dealership that had been stolen from Rountree Hyundai in Shreveport. It is believed the three suspects drove to Opelousas in that vehicle.

The suspects were apprehended with the help of Cpl. Thomas Best, Officer Shawn Parker, Officer David Walls and Officer Wayne Petterway.
