Officers to be promoted

Three Shreveport officers will be promoted in a ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

The promotions ceremony will be held in the former City Council Chamber, located on the second floor of the Shreveport Police Facility.

Those being promoted are:

* Sgt. Audrey Jeter to the rank of Lieutenant.

* Cpl. Rickey Scroggins to the rank of sergeant.

* Officer David Perkins to the rank of corporal.
