Man dies after being stabbed in the knee

A 51-year-old Shreveport man died after his girlfriend reportedly stabbed him in the knee with a knife about 1:50 a.m. today.

Ronnie Jones, also known as Ronnie Patterson, apparently bled to death after an artery in his leg was severed.

The incident occurred in the 200 block of Wilkinson after Jones and his girlfriend, Jeanette Allen, had some type of argument.

Allen, 38, of Shreveport was arrested and charged with manslaughter.
