AMENDMENT NUMBER 2 TO ORDINANCE 157 OF 2011, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2012 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET

Amend the Ordinance as follows:

In Program C (Streets), delete the language under the heading “Program “C” and insert the following language:

Create the project: Ravendale and Old Mooringsport Intersection

Project Scope: The State of Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will construct a “roundabout” at this intersection to replace the existing intersection. This project improves the intersection at Ravendale and Old Mooringsport Road to provide improved roadway alignment and vehicular safety. All design and construction costs for the project will be paid for by DOTD. The funds appropriated by the City Council for this project will be used to purchase property and to cover any in-house costs related to construction observation and coordination with the State for the project.

Appropriation: $25,000.00,

Funding source: Unobligated bond funds from 2001A GOB (Fund # 45).

Adjust totals and subtotals accordingly.

Explanation of Amendment:

This amendment amends information under the heading “Program C” to comply with requirements of Section 2-475 of the Code of Ordinances which requires that the ordinance creating or establishing a new capital project describe the scope of the project, the amount of the appropriation and the funding source or sources for the project.
