ADMINISTRATIVE CONFERENCE

January 24, 2005

The Administrative Conference of the City Council of the City of Shreveport, State of Louisiana, was called to order by Chairman Mike Gibson at 3:02 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2005, in the Government Chambers of Government Plaza, 505 Travis Street, Shreveport, Louisiana. Invocation was given by Councilman Green. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Hogan. On roll call, the following members were present: Councilmen Walford, Gibson, Green, and Hogan, 4. Absent: Councilmen Lester, Carmody, and Jackson. 3. The Council met and set the following agenda for January 25, 2005 agenda:

Both meetings will be held in the Government Chambers at Government Plaza (505 Travis Street).

10 Zoning C-3-05: Amending Chapter 106 of the Code of Ordinances, the City of Shreveport Zoning Ordinance, by rezoning property located on the north side of Shreveport-Blanchard Highway, 1800 feet south of North Lakeshore Drive, Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana, from R-A, Residence Agriculture District, To B-3-E, Community Business/Extended Use District, “Limited to Office Equipment, Storage Yard, and Wood Processing” Only, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 11 Zoning C-04-05: Amending Chapter 106 of the Code of Ordinances, the City of Shreveport Zoning Ordinance by rezoning property located on a tract of land 115 feet north of Summer Grove and 925 feet east of Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana, from B-2, Neighborhood Business District, to B-2-A, Business Park District, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. D. ORDINANCES ON SECOND READING AND FINAL PASSAGE (Numbers are assigned Ordinance Numbers)

1. Declaring certain adjudicated property to be surplus and to authorize the Mayor of the City of Shreveport to sell the City of Shreveport’s Tax interest in a certain surplus adjudicated property, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto.

2 Authorizing the incurring of debt and issuance of not to exceed Sixty-Two Million Dollars ($62,000,000) of General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2005A, of the City of Shreveport, State of Louisiana; prescribing the form, terms and conditions of said Bonds; designating the date, denomination and place of payment of said Bonds; providing for the payment thereof in principal and interest; and providing for other matters in connection therewith.

3 ZONING – C-1-05: Amending Chapter 106 of the Code of Ordinances, the City of Shreveport Zoning Ordinance by rezoning property located on the southwest corner of Ford and Dale Street, Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana, from R-3, Urban, Multiple-Family District, to B-2, Neighborhood Business District, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto.

241 ZONING - C-77-04: Amending Chapter 106 of the Code of Ordinances, the City of Shreveport Zoning Ordinance, by rezoning property located on the east side of Audrey & Peach between Freddie & Willie Mays, Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana, from R-1D, Urban One-Family Residence District, to R-1H, Urban, One-Family Residence District, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto.
