ADMINISTRATIVE CONFERENCE OF

AUGUST 27, 2001

The Administrative Conference of the City Council of the City of Shreveport, State of Louisiana, was called to order by Chairman Thomas Carmody, at 3:13 p.m., Monday, August 27, 2001, in the Government Chambers in Government Plaza (505 Travis Street).

Invocation was given by Councilman Stewart.

On Roll Call, the following members were Present: Councilmen Pearl Huckaby (3:18), Stewart, Carmody, Serio, Spigener (3:58), Shyne and Burrell. 7. Absent: None.

105 Authorizing the City to enter into a contract agreement with St. Paul United Methodist Church to construct a drainage improvements project (flood control wall and pump system) for the purpose of reduction of existing flood damages to the Church’s building. (A/Huckaby)

108 Stating the City’s endorsement of Sambuca to participate in the benefits of the LA Enterprise Zone Program. (A/Huckaby)

127 Levying a tax of 7.99 mills on all property subject to ad valorem taxation w/i the bounds of the Downtown Development District of the City.
