RESOLUTIONS ON SECOND READING AND FINAL PASSAGE OR WHICH REQUIRE ONLY ONE READING 100 Authorizing the donation of surplus paint and supplies to Shepherd’s Farm, Inc., a Louisiana non-profit corporation, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 101 Authorizing the waiver of all permit fees for the rehabilitation or renovation of property(ies) located within the boundaries of the Downtown Development District (DDD), and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 102 Authorizing the Mayor to contract with Chesapeake Energy for display space on five Sportran Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. 103 Authorizing the Mayor to apply for Federal Transit Administration Section 5309 Capital Project funds for streetscape improvements, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. 104 Authorizing the Mayor to apply for Federal Transit Administration funds for the purchase of three Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) powered paratransit buses to transport persons with disabilities, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. 105 Authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract between the City of Shreveport, Louisiana and Pine Bluff, Arkansas, for the transfer of three replica trolleys, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. 106 Authorizing the Mayor to accept a donation from the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Department, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 107 Authorizing the execution of a cooperative endeavor agreement with Shreveport Regional Arts Council, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 108 Selecting The Times as the Official Journal for the City of Shreveport for the period commencing July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. 109 Approving the budget for the Caddo-Shreveport Sales and Use Tax Commission for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010 and otherwise providing with respect thereto. (Postponed May 25, 2010) 110 Ratifying the use of certain equipment by the North Shreveport Business Association and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 112 Suspending the effects of certain provisions of Chapter 10 relative to alcoholic beverages relative to dispensing, sale and/or consumption of low alcoholic content beverages for the Seventh Annual Highland Jazz and Blues Festival located at 600 Columbia Street, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. (B/Walford) 113 Declaring certain adjudicated property to be surplus, which will authorize the Mayor to sell the City of Shreveport’s tax interest in these adjudicated properties, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. (All Council Districts) 114 Suspending the effects of certain provisions of Chapter 10 relative to alcoholic beverages and Chapter 106 relative to Zoning for property located at St. Vincent Mall for the Annual Firecracker Run on July 3, 2010, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTIONS: (Not to be adopted prior to June 22, 2010) 115 Authorizing the Mayor to execute the renewal of a Right of Way grant (20 year term with renewal options) with the State of Louisiana for the maintenance of sewer pipeline and related facilities on State property, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. (B/Walford/C/Long) 116 Authorizing the Mayor to execute a right of way and easement with Louisiana Midstream Gas Services L.L.C. for the construction and maintenance of pipelines and related facilities on City property. (D/Wooley) 119 Authorizing the Mayor’s execution of Amendment No. 5 to the 1/1/205 Cooperative Agreement between the City of Shreveport and the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, any subsequent amendments which may further extend the term of agreement, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. (All Council Districts) 120 Authorizing the Mayor to execute an application with the Metropolitan Planning Commission for the rezoning of certain city owned property, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. (F/Shyne) 121 Authorizing the Shreveport Airport Authority to execute a permanent right of way and easement with Southwestern Electric Power Company, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 122 Declaring the city's interest in certain adjudicated properties as surplus and otherwise providing with respect thereto (A/Lester, B/Walford, D/Wooley, F/Shyne, and B/Bowman) 123 Stating the City of Shreveport’s endorsement of David H. Bushnell to participate in the benefits of the Louisiana Restoration tax abatement program, and otherwise provide with respect thereto. (D/Wooley) 82 Declaring the City’s full intention to acquire full ownership of certain adjudicated properties in the Allendale Neighborhood for a Community Development Project, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. (A/Lester) 83 Declaring the City’s full intention to acquire full ownership of certain adjudicated properties in the Cedar Grove Neighborhood for a Community Development Project, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. (D/Wooley) 84 Repealing Ordinances No. 9, 50, and 83 of 2009 and Ordinance No. 47 of 2007, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. 85 Amending certain provisions of Chapter 18 of the Code of Ordinances relative to Municipal Airports, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. (B/Walford) 86 Authorizing an extension of the franchise agreement with Southwestern Electric Power Company (AEP SWEPCO) and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 87 Amend Chapter 78 of the Code of Ordinances to add Article XI relative to railroads and to otherwise provide with respect thereto.
88 Authorizing the City to close the two at-grade railroad crossings of the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) at Levy Street between Linwood Avenue and Texas Avenue; to rescind the closure of the at-grade crossing at Church Street between Flournoy Lucas Road and Martin Street authorized by Ordinance Number 47 of 2007; to rescind that portion of Ordinance Number 9 of 2009 authorizing the closure of the at-grade crossing at Malcolm Street between Corbitt Street and Midway Avenue; and to otherwise provide with respect thereto.
89 Amending the 2010 Capital Improvements Budget creating and funding a new capital project entitled Wyngate Boulevard and Levy Street Improvements and otherwise providing with respect thereto. 91 Amending the 2010 Information Technology Internal Service Fund Budget, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 92 Authorizing the execution of a lease agreement with Curt Thurmon and to otherwise provide with respect thereto.
