RESOLUTIONS ON SECOND READING AND FINAL PASSAGE OR WHICH REQUIRE ONLY ONE READING 19 Authorizing the Mayor’s signature on a permit to encroach on a portion of Cross Lake Below the 172 foot contour line, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. (A/Lester) 20 Authorizing the Mayor to donate surplus police equipment to the City of Robeline Police Department, Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 21 Authorizing the Mayor to enter into a mutual aid agreement for critical incidents involving explosive devices between the City of Shreveport and Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Department, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 22 Declaring the intention of the City of Shreveport (The “City”) to hire professionals in conjunction with the ($15,000,000) taxable (and/or tax exempt) Water Revenue Bonds (Shreveport Water Improvement Project), Series 2010 to be issued through the Louisiana Local Government environmental facilities and Community Development Authority (The “LCDA”) for the purpose of financing the cost of acquisition and construction of improvements, extensions and replacements to the drinking water portion of the City’s utility system, making application to the LCDA and Louisiana State Bond Commission (The “SBC”) for approval of such bonds, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. 23 Authorizing the execution of a contract for parking system management with the Downtown Development Authority of The City of Shreveport, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 24 Authorizing renewal of the agreement with SMG for management and operation of the Shreveport Convention Center: Authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents to evidence such renewal; and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 25 Authorizing the Mayor to accept a donation from Willis Knighton Health Systems and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 26 Suspending certain provisions of Chapter 10 relative to alcoholic beverages on May 1, 2010 relative to dispensing, sale and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages at Winestyles, 6030 Line Avenue for the Pooch and Pour event, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. (C/Long) 27 Making application to the State Bond Commission for approval of the City of Shreveport (The “City”) to proceed with the issuance of not to exceed Fifteen Million Five Hundred Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($15,500,000) Refunding Certificates of Indebtedness, Series 2010 for the purpose of currently refunding the remaining term certificates of the City’s Refunding Certificates of Indebtedness, Series 1998A to pay the costs of issuance thereof, and otherwise provide with respect thereto. 28 Recognizing a donation from Willis Knighton Health Systems and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTIONS: (Not to be adopted prior to March 9, 2010) 29 Authorizing the Mayor to execute a right of way and easement with Encana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. for the construction and maintenance of pipelines and related facilities on City property, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. (A/Lester) 30 Authorizing the Mayor to accept a cost reimbursement agreement between the Shreveport Police Department and the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Northwest Louisiana Crimes against Children Task Force, and otherwise provide with respect thereto. C. INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCES: (Not to be adopted prior to March 9, 2010) 15 Amending the 2010 Debt Service Fund Budget, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 16 Amending the 2010 Public Safety Grants Special Revenue Fund Budget, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 17 ZONING - C-1-10: Amending Chapter 106 of the Code of Ordinances, the City of Shreveport Zoning Ordinance, by rezoning of property located on the south side of Martin Luther King Drive, 325 feet west of Hill Street, Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana, from R-1H, Urban, One-Family Residence District, to B-2, Neighborhood Business District, and Planned Building Group Approval, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. (A/Lester) D. ORDINANCES ON SECOND READING AND FINAL PASSAGE (Numbers are assigned Ordinance Numbers) 160 A Supplemental Ordinance amending and supplementing Resolution No. 131 of 1984 (the “General Bond Resolution”) adopted on June 12, 1984, as amended, acknowledging and approving the issuance of not to exceed $15,000,000 principal amount of Taxable Water and Sewer Revenue Bonds, Series 2009C, of the City of Shreveport, State of Louisiana, in accordance with the terms of Resolution 170 of 2009 adopted on September 8, 2009; approving and confirming the sale of such bonds; pledging revenue of the System to secure such bonds; designating said Bonds as Build America Bonds pursuant to Section 54AA of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 as amended; prescribing the form, and certain terms and conditions of said Bonds; and providing for other matters in connection therewith. (Postponed February 9, 2010) 13 Amending the 2010 Community Development Special Revenue Fund Budget, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 14 Amending the 2010 Grants Special Revenue Fund Budget, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 10. Ordinance No. 32 of 2008: An ordinance to amend and reenact portions of Division 3 of Article V of Chapter 26 of the Code of Ordinances relative to Retained Risk and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. Ordinance No. 24 of 2008: Amending Chapter 42 of the City of Shreveport Code of Ordinances to add Article XI relative to operation of a rendering plant or transfer center within the City of Shreveport and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. Ordinance No. 83 of 2008: ZONING: C-35-08 Amending Chapter 106 of the Code of Ordinances, the City of Shreveport Zoning Ordinance, by rezoning property located on the north side of Hilry Huckaby, 1800’ south of North Lakeshore, Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana, from B-3-E , Community Business/Extended District, to B-3-E, Community Business/Extended Use District Limited to “an office, equipment storage yard, with the addition of stockpile materials (wood chips/recyclable wood products” only, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto.
