(D/Wooley) 207 A Resolution Declaring the Intention of the City of Shreveport (the “City”) to hire professionals in connection with the issuing of not to exceed Ten Million and No/100 ($10,000,000) Dollars Louisiana Local Government Environmental Facilities and Community Development Authority Revenue Refunding Bonds (Shreveport Airport System Project) Series 2008A-AMT subject and not to exceed Eighteen Million Five Hundred Thousand and No/100 ($18,500,000) Dollars Louisiana Local Government Environmental Facilities and Community Development Authority Revenue Refunding Bonds (Shreveport Airport System PFC Project) Series 2008B-AMT subject for the purpose of refunding certain existing indebtedness of the Airport System, funding a Debt Service Reserve Fund, if necessary, funding fees, if any, related to the termination of an existing Swap Agreement associated with prior bonds if determined to be appropriate and feasable, paying the costs of issuance of the bonds, and otherwise providing with respect thereto 208 A Resolution authorizing an amendment to Resolution Number 100 of 2006 and Resolution Number 158 of 2007 relative to the release of mortgages and cancellation of promissory notes executed by Shreveport Publishing Corporation (now Snap Property, LLC) in favor of the City of Shreveport in connection with the Neighborhood Improvement Leveraging Project and to otherwise provide with respect thereto 211 Rejecting bids received for IIFB #08-042, 2008 General Fund Asphalt Overlay Program and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 212 Declaring a certain adjudicated property to be surplus, which will authorize the Mayor of the City of Shreveport to sell the City of Shreveport’s tax interest in this adjudicated property, and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 213 Authorizing the institution of expropriation proceedings against certain described properties within the City of Shreveport in connection with the Southeast Shreveport Water Distribution Improvements – Phase 2, Project No. 05-E009, Parcel Nos. U-5A and 5B, and otherwise providing with respect thereto. INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTIONS: (Not to be adopted prior to September 8, 2008) 215 Authorizing the Mayor to request the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, Office of the State Mineral Board, to lease certain mineral interest owned by the City of Shreveport and to execute all documents relative to same; To ratify and approve the submission of the request and the application to the State Mineral Board; and to otherwise provide with respect thereto. 216 Declaring the intention of the City of Shreveport (The “City”) to proceed with the issuing of not to exceed Eleven Million and No/100 ($11,000,000) Dollars Louisiana Local Government Environmental Facilities and Community Development Authority Revenue Bonds (Shreveport Air Port System Project) Series 2008C Subject for the purpose of the acquisition, construction, and equipping of a 57,000 square foot Cargo Freight Facility at Shreveport Regional Airport and further providing with respect thereto.
