Committee and Board
Risk Management Review Committee
The role of the Committee is to approve, deny or compromise settlements based on
legal merits of the claims where amounts exceed $10,000. The committee consist of the Risk Manager,
Finance Director, Chief Executive Officer, City Attorney and two(2) City Council Members.
Safety and Accident Review Board
The Risk Management Division heads the Safety Accident Review Board (SARB)
who is charged with reviewing departmental accidents/incidents and determining if a city
employee has had a preventable/non-preventable accident/incident.
The City of Shreveport
conducts a monthly SARB to investigate all preventable and non-preventable accidents involving
all city employees.
