2011 Paint Your Heart Out Shreveport CO-CHAIRS

  Kelly Roberts is the Vice President of Business Development for Barksdale Federal Credit Union. Over the past 12 years, she takes pride in not only taking care of her business duties at the credit union, but also spending time encouraging employees to volunteer their time and give back to the community.  She was a 40-Under-40 winner in 2008 and is a proud Spotlight on Success Honoree for the March of Dimes for 2010.  She is also a current member of the Marketing Committee for the Bossier Chamber of Commerce.  Kelly graduated from Louisiana Tech in Ruston with a degree in Psychology and no matter what career or job she has, she strives to help others.  She is married to her wonderful husband Todd and has 2 wonderful children, Kelsi and Brandon.

 

LEE ARTHUR JETER, SR.

     A life-long resident of the Shreveport-Bossier area, Lee is a graduate of Parkway High School and Central Texas College.  He is married to Penny Carroll-Jeter of Shreveport, LA.  They have five children, one son and 4 daughters.

Lee retired from the Unite States Marine Corps after 20 years of faithful and honorable service.  He served as Program Manager for ShrevCORPS, an AmeriCorps National Service Program directed by Shreveport Green for eleven years.

Lee is currently serving as executive director of the Fuller Center for Housing of Northwest Louisiana whose mission is to provide adequate housing for families living in poverty.

Lee has facilitated numerous community service and special projects for Caddo and Bossier Parishes.  He is an active community leader and is committed to helping adults, young and old take an active role in improving their community and their lives.  Lee leads by example as shown by his current involvement in the following clubs/organizations:

  • Board Member for the Caddo Council on Aging - Retired Senior Volunteer Program

  • Past President and on the Board of Directors of Barksdale Annex Neighborhood Association

  • Past Lieutenant Governor, Division 9  And current Trustee Region VII, LAMISSTENN District Kiwanis

  • Minister at Fellowship of Christ Missionary Baptist Church
