Property at 1401 Market Street
This property is located in the Agurs area of Shreveport and was recommended for the Brownfields program by the Agurs Business Association, to provide assistance in resolving the environmental issues resulting from the former galvanizing operations at the site. The Brownfield Program conducted the environmental investigations at the site.
The site was donated to the North Shreveport Development Corporation (NSDC) by the Moran family. NSDC applied for a clean-up grant to USEPA and was awarded the grant. The site will be developed into a farmers market. For more information visit NSCC at : http:// www. NorthShrev.org.
